'Jones Dairy' is from a series of paintings depicting fast disappearing distinctive London shops. A century ago this was a working Welsh dairy, but for some decades now it has been a cafe attached to a cheese shop situated in Shoreditch. Top quality bread and bagels and those great cheeses have made it a popular spot on market days, and a buzzy young crowd spill out onto the street throughout summer weekends, when there is also occasional live music. The food is sourced from small producers in England and Holland, so the menu varies, but it is always impressively fresh.
