I visited an area of Manchester during my time exhibiting in The John Ruskin Prize and visited an area called Levenshulme, which lies about halfway between Stockport and Manchester City. The area has suffered from inner city decline but is now showing signs of gentrification with more fast food shops replacing the small long established family run businesses like this Snooker shop which has been open since 1980.
